Meet The Team
Samantha
Salon Owner
I have 14 years' experience in the beauty industry. After leaving school, I trained practically in a small village salon, before moving to a bigger salon in Darlington to gain further experience. After 5 years, I decided it was time to move on which is when I opened Bel Viso. Since qualifying as a Level 2 and 3 Beauty Therapist, I have trained in many other areas such as HD Brows, Fluffy Brows, Nouveau Lash Tech, various Gel Polish courses and Lycon Intimate Waxing. I believe that throughout your career, you must always continue to train to ensure you are offering a high standard to your clients. The best thing about working at Bel Viso are our clients and the warm community that they create. Without my amazing team, running Bel Viso would not be possible. My favourite concert was the original Spice Girls concert; who doesn't love the Spice Girls? I have two stand-out memories. The first would be winning the English Hair and Beauty Award two years running. It was amazing to see the hard work of the staff pay off. The second memory would be my wedding day and marrying my rock of a husband. He is my biggest fan, keeps my feet on the ground and always believes in me. I couldn't ask for anything more.
Kate
Salon Manager
I fell in love with Beauty when I started studying the CIDESCO Diploma in Beauty Therapy at the Yorkshire College of Beauty Therapy in Leeds. I qualified with a higher Level 2 and 3 Diploma and have since worked at Rockliffe Hall for a year. I am now the Salon Manager at Bel Viso where I have worked for 3 years. The best thing about working at Bel Viso is the regular clientele, which allows us all to build relationships and friendships. I am really close with all the girls that I work with and they are my friends as well as my colleagues. There is always a fun atmosphere and everyone enjoys coming to Bel Viso, both the staff and clients. My favourite food is pasta. I love anything pasta based and this is always the first section of the menu I go to when eating out. Pasta Arrabiata is my favourite, which is a spicy tomato and garlic pasta - you can't beat it! I travelled South East Asia in 2017 for 4 months including Bali and then Australia and this has to be my best memory.
Chloe
Beauty Therapist
I studied at Hartlepool FE College for 2 years where I achieved my NVQ Level 1, 2 and 3 in Beauty Therapy. Since then I have worked in Tip 2 Toe which is a Beauty Salon in Hartlepool for 2 years. I am now a Beauty Therapist at Bel Viso where I have worked for 3 years. The best thing about working at Bel Viso is that I love working here. The atmosphere is really friendly and welcoming and it almost doesn't feel as though I am coming to work. I have never been to a concert, so will answer the favourite food question which of course could only be Beef Stoganoff. I love a hot and filling meal and whenever I am out for tea, I look for this on the menu. My favourite memories are made with my little girl who is 2 years old in November. Looking back at what she was like, to now, she’s grown into my little best friend.
Lizzie
Receptionist / Beauty Therapist
I have recently finished studying at Stockton Riverside College where I achieved my Level 2 and 3 NVQ in Beauty Therapy. During my time as a Trainee Beautician, I have been working as a Receptionist, but I am now broadening my horizons and I recently started a dual role of Receptionist / Beauty Therapist. The best thing about working at Bel Viso is the staff morale, we are all friends as well as colleagues. Of course, there are all of our lovely clients too, which make the job more fun. My favourite food is pizza and garlic and my favourite concert was Rita Ora at the O2 Academy in Leeds, she is fab! The best memory I have is giving birth to my son, Lennon. It is the most amazing experience ever to be a mother.
Lucy
Beauty Therapist
I studied at Middlesbrough College for 2 years where I achieved my Level 2 and 3 Beauty Therapy qualifications. I have previously worked at Rockliffe Hall for 3 years and only in the past few months have I started working at Bel Viso Beauty Salon. Having said that, I have settled in pretty quickly and the best thing about working at Bel Viso is the wide range of treatments that we have to offer. All of the girls are so friendly. I was a client before I was a staff member, so I knew that this was a high performing salon with an excellent reputation. I really enjoy the fun and friendly atmosphere. I have two favourite concerts which were both in Newcastle; Adele and Ed Sheeran. The Adele concert was at the O2 Academy, arguably before she became a superstar, so the gig was really intimate. My favourite food is a Sunday lunch and my favourite celebrity is Ariana Grande. My favourite memory was travelling 5 different states in America. To see New York City, Florida, Miami, Vegas and Los Angeles are memories that I will never forget.
Nicky
Beauty Therapist
Since qualifying as a Beauty Therapist with Middlesbrough College in 2010, I have gained a lot of experience at a salon in Hartburn. I started with Bel Viso in April 2019 and I am really enjoying working with all of the staff and clientele. Bel Viso have a great reputation in this industry. They use Social Media really well and the staff are all team players. I love how busy it is. I am looking forward to what I hope is a long and happy journey with this amazing salon. My favourite celebrity, although perhaps not seen as a celeb, would be Walt Disney. He is a legend and his legacy will live on forever! I love that the movies that I watched as a little girl are now available for my children to see. My favourite memory has to be my little boy being born. He's now 1 year old and I love him to bits.
